Smith Corona is one of the best typewriter brands, produced many popular portable models for writers throughout the years. This early 1932 Standard Smith Corona is a model with serial n. 1 019 XXX and it is one of the first typewriters manufactured with a model name "S". It is a great typewriter choice for writers because this typewriter is heavy-duty and can keep up with regular use! This Corona typewriter boasts with a supple and light key feeling, fast responsive keys, and a light segment shift.

*COSMETICS: This typewriter is in very good condition - few age signs on the body and paint. Beautiful dark black color of paint (shiny). There is visible paint loss (on the front ribbon panel, on the right side, where the carriage lever was moved) - please see pictures. The chrome plated metal parts look excellent. Overall, very good condition.
*MECHANICS: As with all our serviced typewriters - this one is in outstanding mechanical condition. As part of our service process this typewriter has received new inside lining (felt), new rubber key rest, and of course - new ink. There was very slight surface rust on the inside which has been removed and the surface has been sealed to preserve the metal for years to come. All parts are original and perfectly working. It is ready to withstand many hours of heavy typing with it's smooth carriage, light keys and sturdy design.
*CASE: The case is in very good condition. Cleaned and polished, locks work well. It has a special stamp on the inside (from typewriter shop in Nijmegen city in the Netherlands). It is fully functional case - with an automatic lock.
*OUR RECOMMENDATION: We always recommend this model if you are planning on regular use and heavy typing. This typewriter has no other match and deserves it's own category - a true performer - built to last more than a lifetime.
