We gladly accept returns. For us, at Amsterdam Typewriter, great customer satisfaction is the utmost priority. We want you to love your typewriter or items as much as we do. If for any reason you wish to return your product - contact us within 14 days of delivery. Dispatch your item back within 21 days of delivery. Buyers are responsible for return postage costs. Upon receiving the item(s) back we will make an assessment and will issue a full refund if the goods are in their original packaging and undamaged. A full refund is the buyer price of the goods minus any incurred shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value. In such case we charge a one-time 25% restock fee on top of the incurred costs of damage. A restocking fee of 25% the purchase price is also charged from the total refund amount if the buyer has bought item(s) and has refused to pay import/duty taxes.
In the unlikely case that you have received your item damaged - please keep all original packaging material and box and get in touch with us so we can assist you further.

Note, if you file a Paypal case before our reply - we cannot refund you anymore as this means you have chosen to deal with Paypal instead of us, double refund requests are unacceptable.
Once a transaction has been processed, it is not possible to make a cancelation. If you need help with you order, please contact us before placing an order and we will help you.
Import duties and fees
Please, note that import duties and fees are responsibility of the buyer. For some countries there might be import taxes and other government fees collected before you can pick up your package. Please, consult your local tax authorities on import taxes for a calculation estimate. Any import tax or fee encountered after the transaction is not part of our website and is responsibility of the buyer. If you do not wish to pay the import fees and want to cancel the transaction you must return the goods back in their original packaging and condition in order to receive a refund. A refund is issued 14 days within receipt of goods. A restocking fee of 25% is charged from the total refund amount.
