PREMIUM BLACK COTTON ribbon spooled on original GR1 plastic spools (if you wish to receive GR4 spools for example for Olivetti Lettera 32/22 let us know). The ink ribbon is fresh ink ribbon, spooled by hand and made to order.

Cotton ribbons create a more saturated print on paper.

Every day typing? Choose basic nylon.

Want a longer lasting ribbon with better, darker impression on paper? Choose cotton.

The GR1 spools will fit most manual typewriters but if you need GR4 spools - let us know.

Note: Spools might differ in look from the website photo (due to difference in stock).

Nice to find an original, great ribbon (silk) and super support!

I bought this original set of spools and chose the silk ribbon for it. Excellent quality! I love this store. It has a very nice selection of original and vintage stuff. Just the way I like it. Also ordered some paper and it comes wrapped beautifully and the paper is great. And the support is quick and friendly and very helpful! AAA+

Great shop and beautiful original products

I really like all the original stuff. Spools, paper, etc. It makes my vintage typewriter even more authentic. Very good quality, great service and a very very nice way of packaging! Really lovely. The spools look beautiful and the silk ribbon is a very nice extra. Highly recommended!

Great Source of Hermes Ribbons and Feet

I’m in California, and have (to date) 4 Hermes Baby/Rockets and 2 Hermes 3000s. I’ve found Amsterdam Typewriter to be my go-to source for ribbons and replacement rubber feet. You can’t beat the fast, friendly service, and the great prices!
