*TYPEFACE: The typeface is 10 cpi, Pica. (10 characters per inch). This is a big, readable letter font style designed for correspondence and letter writing.
*COSMETICS: This typewriter is in great condition. Smooth, metal green paint finish. The chrome plated metal parts look great. Very slight paint scratches on a few spots. The machine is finished off with a protective, museum-quality wax in order to protect the paint from oxidation, dirt, scratches and fingerprints.
*MECHANICS: As with all our serviced typewriters - this one is in outstanding mechanical condition. As part of our restoring this typewriter has been thoroughly cleaned and has received new black/red ink as well as new felt padding. It is ready to withstand many hours of heavy typing with it's smooth carriage, light keys and sturdy design. It has new rubber feet, new felt pads on the bottom, fine tuned to serve a minimum of 50 more years.
*CASE: The case is one-of-a-kind! It is the only black leather case we have seen! It is in great condition. It has engraved the case maker logo "ATOM" on the front latch. Cleaned and polished, the latch works well. Handle is in great shape as well and the leather is shiny and has been professionally restored/treated.
