Princess 300 is one of the most popular typewriter lines. Famous for their elegant design, responsive keyboard and a fun color selector button, this one was produced in 1958. It comes with a DE LUXE case - not common for Princess 300. It comes in a stunning cream color, the logo is golden and the case...it's a fantastic textured leather case with a comfortable handle.
*TYPEFACE: Pica, 10cpi typeface. The keyboard is German-English QWERTZ layout with the German umlaut for German speakers, and the "y" for English speakers which has a different position.
*COSMETICS: This typewriter is in very good condition. There are a few paint scratches on the body - mostly on the sides, where the ribbon cover closes and on the back. The chrome plated metal parts look very good. The color is a light, creamy, buttery yellow with smooth off-white keys. One of the keys (the caps lock) has some small discoloration due to it's age. Overall, very good cosmetic condition.
*MECHANICS: As with all our serviced typewriters - this one is in outstanding mechanical condition. It types as smooth as butter and looks amazing! The typewriter has been disassembled, cleaned, polished and adjusted on feet. Bell works like a charm, carriage advances smoothly. It is ready to withstand many hours of heavy typing with it's smooth carriage, light keys and sturdy design. This typewriter supports 2 different ink colors - of your choice and comes with fresh red/black ink.
