It provides an amazing buttery and light type feeling - no need to hit the keys hard to get a good impression on paper, thus suitable for heavy writing and kids as well.
Completely restored by us in our workshop by technicians with more than half a decade of experience in typewriters.
It features:
- Beautiful white keys
- Gorgeous "boxy" design
- Durable yet very delicate mechanics
- Heavy duty metal case for ultimate protection
- Unlimited functionality, e.g. details like a button to clean crowded type bars.
*TYPEFACE: Uncommon Director Elite 12cpi (12 characters per inch)
*COSMETICS: This typewriter is in almost mint cosmetic condition - very few age signs. Beautiful light gray/green color of paint.
*MECHANICS: As with all our restored typewriters - this one is in outstanding mechanical condition. As a restored typewriter - this one has also a new soft platen. As part of our restoration process this typewriter has received original metal spools, new platen rubber, new feet, new inside lining (felt), new rubber key rest, and of course - new ink. It is ready to withstand many hours of heavy typing with it's smooth carriage, light keys and sturdy design.
*CASE: The case is in great condition. Cleaned and polished, looks like new. This Hermes 3000 case still works great - including the automatic lock on the front and the key to the lock.
*PERFORMANCE: We always recommend this model if you are planning on regular use and heavy typing. This typewriter has no other match and deserves it's own category - a true performer - built to last more than a lifetime.
All our typewriters are delivered to you ready to start typing. All machines have an installed new ink ribbon which should last at least 500 A4 pages.
