The chrome plated metal parts look good. The machine is finished off with a protective, museum-quality wax in order to protect the paint from oxidation, dirt, scratches and fingerprints.

*MECHANICS: We have serviced this typewriter professionally - it is in outstanding mechanical condition. As part of our servicing this typewriter has been thoroughly cleaned and has received new ink ribbon (black and red), new felt lining inside and new rubber feet. It is ready to withstand many hours of heavy typing with it's smooth carriage, light keys and sturdy design.
*CASE: The lid is in good condition. Cleaned and polished, it works well. Comes with functional lock. Some age related dents (please see photos or request more high-quality detail photos).
