A beautiful vintage and sturdy repairman tool bag. I was able to locate this gorgeous tool bag from an old mechanic. This bag was made around 1960-1980. It is very high quality - made of thick leather. Due to the rough nature of the ends I believe it was probably hand cut. It features 2 automatic hand locks on the front and opens easily. The leather is still in a great condition, with very few minor scratches. I have used professional leather cream and a protective finish wax to rejuvenate the leather and give it a new shiny look and more flexibility, thus it now looks almost as new.
This leather bag is suitable for many purposes. It can be a great tool bag for electrical, carpenter, leather workers or typewriter repair tools. It is very deep and can definitely store many tools at once without bulking. It has 3 separate compartments divided by a thick lining wall. Due to the thick leather this tool bag withstands the pressure from heavy tools well and does not bend. it even has 32 tool slots!!! For all your screwdrivers, pliers, special tools.
