*COSMETICS: This typewriter is in mint condition - no paint chips, scratches and no to very few age signs. Beautiful light gray/green color of paint. White keys and knobs. Only slight discoloration on the knobs + space bar (very typical for this model).
*MECHANICS: As with all our restored typewriters - this one is in outstanding mechanical condition. As a restored typewriter - this one has also a new platen, all new rubber (incl. rollers, new original rubber feet) . As part of our restoration process this typewriter has received a new platen rubber, new feet, new inside lining (felt), new rubber key rest, and of course - new ink. It is ready to withstand many hours of heavy typing with it's smooth carriage, light keys and sturdy design.
*CASE: The case is in great condition. Cleaned and polished, looks like new. This Hermes 3000 case still works great - including the automatic lock on the front and the key to the lock.
