*TYPEFACE: Typeface is called PICA - it types with 10 characters per inch. This is a elegant, big, readable letter font style. The keyboard is a French AZERTY keyboard with all the French accent keys.
*COSMETICS: This typewriter is in great condition. Smooth, metal green paint finish. The chrome plated metal parts look great. The machine is finished off with a protective, museum-quality wax in order to protect the paint from oxidation, dirt, scratches and fingerprints.
*MECHANICS: As with all our serviced typewriters - this one is in outstanding mechanical condition. This typewriter has a bi-color ink selector unlike many other Hermes baby models!!! As part of our restoring this typewriter has been thoroughly cleaned and has received new black/red ink, as well as new insulation and noise reduction padding on the inside. It is ready to withstand many hours of heavy typing with it's smooth carriage, light keys and sturdy design. It has new rubber feet, new felt pads, fine tuned to serve a minimum of 50 more years.
*CASE: The case is in great condition with a comfortable grip handle for traveling. Cleaned and polished, it works well.
